Barks and Rec and our non profit Opportunities Unleashed are going to host a fundraiser event at the old wallstreet (currently Forum). This fundraiser would benefit our nonprofit organization that does job training and development for individuals with Intellectual and developmental disabilities.
My vision was to do a pop up night and do 1 fabulous evening of performances and guest bartenders, Dj’s. Have a silent auction and raffle for prizes throughout the evening.
I need to gather who would be interested in helping with the event (bartending, performing, hosting the evening) as well as gather prize donations and artwork to auction off. If you are interested in any of these please comment what you’d be interested in doing.
If you are just interested in attending please just confirm attendance and help spread the word.
The date is not solidified we need to get a head count to determine the date! We just need a rough estimate and help spreading the word. Edit ( the date is April 7th)
I’m open to all of the ideas or themes for the evening.
