Please join us for a poetry and spoken-word workshop! Workshops will be hosted by female poets in the Black Women Rise Poetry Collective. We’ll come together to write, share our stories, learn more about poetry and poetry slam, read the work of nationally-known poets, and listen to the words of poets from all over the world. We’ll explore themes of identity, healing through trauma and grief, finding our voices, and much more! There will be space allotted for participants to share at every session.
